Last July saw the very first LEE Filters supported workshops in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with Jeremy Walker and top Brazilian landscape photographer Príamo Melo.

The workshops came about because of the enthusiasm of Patricia Martins, who had been on a U.K. based LEE workshop and the hard work and dedication of Príamo Melo, a long time LEE advocate and widely recognised as one of the best photographers of his generation.

Due to the great success and huge demand from the photographic enthusiasts of Rio, once again this July, Lee Filters are supporting Jeremy and Príamo in two more workshops held at the Casa da Ladeira in the heart of Rio.

“Color is a crucial part of our visual experience. It indicates many things in our lives, from the ripeness of a banana, to how someone is feeling, to which subway line we should be on. Not everyone sees colors the same way, and colors have drastically different meanings in different cultures, but one thing we all have in common: color is important. These visualizations all show us different things about colors.”

Photographer JONATHAN CRITCHLEY uses his Big Stopper along with other LEE Photography Filters to achieve these incredible images. Click on each ad to learn more about his process, and story behind these photos.

We are pleased to announce that as of today, all 100mm Big Stoppers will be shipped in a hard protective tin case. There is no price change to this product in the new packaging.

This is in response to customer demand for a rigid storage solution for this very popular filter. This tin will take any 100 x 100mm filter and will also be sold separately.

Contact your local dealer for more information.

(Please note: Case is currently available for purchase, except in US, Latin & South America. Product will be available in those regions shortly. Thank you for your patience.)
